Bard (BD) WavelinQ device
Medtronic Elipsys device
The general principle involves the puncture of a forearm artery and a forearm vein, then creating a joint between these two, using either heat energy or magnets. The WavelinQ device requires an X-ray machine, whereas the Elipsys can be done using ultrasound only
